International Cooperation Relations

  The internationalist objectives of Samarkand State Medical University are based on the concept of development of the institute and are aimed at strengthening its position in the international educational space. The main advantages of internationalization are increasing the number of students from abroad, developing joint projects with foreign institutions of higher education and research centers, increasing the number of researchers and teachers teaching at foreign institutions, increasing the number of joint programs with foreign institutions of higher education, which allows to issue two diplomas.

  Samarkand State Medical University develops relations with more than 60 state and international organizations, foreign universities and research centers involved in international cooperation in education and science, based on the principle of equality. Cooperation with universities in Europe, Asia, North America and the CIS dialogue development is based on the joint program and educational

  Every year the number of highly qualified specialists, professors, students and researchers from abroad visiting SamGMU for the purpose of establishing partnership contacts, education, professional development and participation in scientific conferences grows.

  SamSMU is ready for interaction with educational and scientific centers, universities, public organizations around the world, and the doors of the Institute are open to all applicants, students, applicants and teachers abroad.

  Geography of cooperation: the department has contacts and partnerships with more than 10 higher educational institutions and research centers in countries near and far abroad:

  On the basis of the Moscow Regional Clinical Research Institute (MORIKI) within the framework of academic mobility in June-July 2021, the Head of the Department of Internal Medicine № 3 with a course of endocrinology Dr. Gulandom Zikriyayevna Shodikulova, professor of the department, carried out the hourly load.

  In October 2021, assistant professor of the Department of Faculty Therapy named after Professor V.Y. Garmash RyazSMU Minzdrav of Russia candidate of medical sciences Panfilov Yuri Andreevich delivered lectures and conducted practical classes for 4th year medical faculty on the discipline "Internal Diseases" within the framework of academic mobility program.

  In May 2022 staff of Samarkand State Medical University: head of the Department of Internal Medicine ¹ 3 Shodikulova Gulandom Zikriyayevna, assistants of the department visited the Kazakh State Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, according to established relations on cooperation between Samarkand State Medical University and Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov (Kazakhstan).

  On June 9, 2022 a round table was held with the participation of the staff of Samarkand State Medical University and Saratov State Medical University named after V.I. Razumovsky on the topic: "Modern look at the problem of rheumatoid arthritis". Keynote speaker: Natalya Nikitina, M.D., professor of Razumovsky State Medical University. Topic: "Late rheumatoid arthritis: focus on complications. Keynote speaker: Gulandom Zikriayevna Shodikulova, M.D., Professor, Samara State Medical University. Topic: "A look at the problem of secondary osteoarthritis in women with rheumatoid arthritis".
