The department's spiritual and educational work is based on the "Roadmap for Spiritual and Educational Work," approved by Professor N.M. Shavazi, Dean of the University's Faculty of Biotechnology, Engineering, and Pharmacy. The department houses an exhibition entitled "Action Strategy for Five Priority Development Areas of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2017-2021," posters dedicated to the State Program, and displays of the 5th Initiative to Improve Work with Youth.
Work plans and meeting minutes are kept for all group supervisors assigned to the department. Every Friday, under the direction of O.B. Muminov, the department's assistant in charge, spiritual hours are held with the participation of department staff and students, based on instructions that are documented in the minutes. All group supervisors meet regularly with their students.
Students were educated on etiquette, pop culture, dress codes, and the dangers of smoking, drinking, and smoking. The institute's Department of Spirituality and Education presented the "Message of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan," "Fighting Harmful Vices," and detailed information about COVID-19. Presentations and outreach activities were also held. Students living in rented housing visited their dorms and met with tenants.
The decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoyev, the Action Strategy for Five Priority Development Areas of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2017–2021, and the "Five Initiatives" to Support Youth, developed by President Sh.M. Mirziyoyev, were regularly studied and discussed in detail among the department's staff and students.
Work has been carried out to promote a healthy lifestyle and physical education:
Discussions on healthy lifestyles are organized for students. Medical assistance is available upon request to students studying in the department.
Excursions to historical monuments and places of worship were organized with the curatorial groups. On March 12, 2025, a celebratory event was organized with the curatorial groups, including a visit to the 10th Mehribonlik House. Associate Professor M.B. Kholjigitova and Assistant T.A. Okboev worked at the regional infectious diseases hospital treating and combating the COVID-19 pandemic.
Associate Professor M.B. Kholjigitova adopted Resolution No. PP-4887 of November 10, 2025, "On additional measures to ensure healthy nutrition for the population" and took an active part in organizing seminars and trainings in the districts with lectures in order to further strengthen the health of the population, improve the quality and effectiveness of treatment in the healthcare system, as well as to implement Resolution No. PF-6099 of October 30, 2025, "On measures for the widespread introduction of a healthy lifestyle and the further development of mass sports."

The department's professors and teachers are actively involved in ongoing work. Staff members assigned to the Kushrabotsky District visit district hospitals and clinics, conduct regular seminars on COVID-19 prevention and vaccination, and answer questions.
In March 2025, Associate Professor A.D. Dusanov delivered a report on "Food Culture" on Samarkand Television, and in June 2025, he delivered reports on COVID-19 and quarantine compliance on the Uzbekistan-24 channel of Uzbek Television and the Diyor channel of Samarkand Television.
In 2025, Associate Professor A.D. Dusanov conducted a master class on "Healthy Lifestyle and Nutrition Culture" at the Ishtikhan District Medical College. Students received comprehensive answers to their questions..
