  The international mission of Samarkand State Medical University is based on the institutional development strategy aimed at strengthening its position in the global system of higher education. The key benefits of internationalization include an increase in the number of international students, the development of joint projects with foreign universities and research centers, academic and research staff exchange, the expansion of double-degree programs, and the enhancement of international academic mobility.

  Samarkand State Medical University collaborates with more than 60 governmental and international organizations, foreign universities, and research centers in the fields of education and science, following the principles of equality and mutual benefit. The development of cooperative dialogues with universities in Europe, Asia, North America, and the CIS is based on joint programs and academic mobility initiatives.

  Each year, the number of highly qualified specialists, lecturers, students, and researchers from abroad visiting SamSMU for academic cooperation, training, professional development, and participation in scientific conferences steadily increases.

  SamSMU is open to establishing partnerships with educational and research institutions, universities, and public organizations worldwide. The university’s doors are open to applicants, students, researchers, and lecturers from all over the world.

  • Osh State University, Faculty of Medicine, Kyrgyzstan
  • North-Western State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov, Russia
  • First Saint Petersburg State Medical University named after Acad. I.P. Pavlov, Russia
