International Cooperation Relations

  The main priority areas for international cooperation of the Department of Pediatrics No. 2 at Samarkand State Medical University are based on the concept of developing and strengthening its strategic position in the international educational space. Key elements in the integration and implementation of joint programs include increasing the number of international students and implementing joint projects with foreign higher medical education institutions and research centers.

  It should be noted that the increasing number of researchers and faculty from foreign educational institutions and the increasing number of joint programs with foreign higher education institutions enable educational activities to be conducted at the highest professional level.

  The number of highly qualified specialists, professors, students, and researchers from abroad visiting the Department of Pediatrics No. 2 annually increases to establish business contacts, receive training, improve their qualifications, and participate in scientific conferences.

  The department regularly organizes lectures and webinars with prestigious medical universities in the CIS countries as part of academic mobility programs. Among these, lectures by Professor N.N. Smirnova from the St. Petersburg State Medical University, Professor L.A. Kharitonova from the N.I. Pirogov Moscow State Medical Academy, Associate Professor N.N. Bekenov from the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, and a number of other leading specialists in higher medical education from near and far alike have generated considerable interest among students.
