The goal of the department's international collaboration is to adapt the best practices of other countries in the field of education and present their experience at the international level, exchange experience in organizing the educational process and the use of innovative teaching technologies, holding joint events, organizing youth exchanges, establishing cultural ties, fostering intercultural tolerance.
Expected results
at teacher level:
- creation of conditions for the development of the creative potential of teachers;
- advanced training of teachers, their assimilation of the theory and practice of foreign experience;
- improving the competencies of intercultural communication of teaching staff;
- increase in the number of teachers who successfully implement design and information and computer technologies;
- increasing the level of knowledge of teachers in mastering the methods of education for democratic citizenship and education in the field of human rights;
- educators' awareness of how education promotes social cohesion, intercultural understanding and respect for human rights.
at the student level:
- formation of civic competencies of students;
- increasing the level of socialization of students;
- formation of leadership qualities, humanistic and moral values; intercultural tolerance;

The Department of Medical Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine and Traditional Medicine, realizing the importance of international cooperation as one of the priorities of the university, is doing some work in this direction.
The department actively conducts methodological and practice-oriented seminars and lectures with the invitation of foreign professors.
In accordance with the Agreement on International Cooperation of Samarkand State Medical University with a number of foreign universities and agencies, within the framework of academic mobility programs, lectures and practical classes are conducted by the department staff in the disciplines "Rehabilitology" and "Sports Medicine".
In general, the geography of cooperation of the department is extensive and includes contacts and cooperation dialogues with more than 10 higher educational institutions and research centers of near and far abroad.
