Department for the training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel
The main goal of the department for the training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel is to meet the needs of society in scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel of the highest qualification. The training of scientific, scientific and pedagogical personnel - doctors of philosophy (Doctor of Philosophy, PhD) and doctors of sciences (Doctor of Science, DSc) is carried out through doctoral studies, basic doctoral students and independent competition.
The legal basis for the training of doctoral students, basic doctoral students and independent applicants is the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 16, 2017 No. UP-4958 "On further improving the system of postgraduate education" and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to further improve the system of postgraduate education" of 22 May 2017 No. 304
Basic doctoral studies are a form of postgraduate education in the specialties of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel of the highest qualification, organized for applicants for the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the in-depth study of the specialty and conducting scientific research by them in order to prepare and defend a doctoral dissertation out of production, funded by funds account of the State budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
Doctoral studies are a form of postgraduate education in the specialties of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel of the highest qualification, organized for applicants for the scientific degree of Doctor of Science (DSc) in the in-depth study of the specialty and conducting scientific research by them in order to prepare and defend a doctoral dissertation out of production, funded by funds of the State budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
Self-study is a form of postgraduate education in the specialties of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel of the highest qualification, organized for applicants for the degrees of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Science (DSc) in in-depth study of the specialty and conducting scientific research by them in order to prepare and defend a doctoral dissertation without disengagement from production;
