The Department of Family and Preventive Medicine, Public Health, and Health Management of Samarkand State Medical University conducts training for young teachers on "Training young Teachers - from theory to practice."
The training is attended by Anwar Ali Khan, Honorary Vice-Rector and representative of the RCGP Council (Northeast London, UK), Professor, Head of the Department of General Practitioners, Professor of Primary Health Care at the University of East London, Medical Director for International Accreditation at the Royal College of General Practitioners, Honorary Professor at Samarkand State Medical University.
Professor Anwar Ali Khan is an internationally renowned adult educator, developer and head of training programs for primary care physicians in the UK and abroad. His interest in pedagogy is evident not only in the family medicine clinic, but also in assessing the knowledge and skills of doctors in pre-graduate and postgraduate education. The scientist is also the author of numerous books on education and quality assessment.
The training, which is being held from April 19 to 26, 2025, is attended by more than 100 teachers and students of the Faculty of International Education of Samarkand State Medical University.
In the course of practical training, information is provided on theory, effective methods and expected learning outcomes in medical education, as well as issues of effective organization of micro-learning exercises.
