Today, the Abu Ali Ibn Sina Public Health Technical School in Kattakurgan hosted a scientific-practical conference titled “Continuous Education in Training the New Generation of Nurses.”
The opening ceremony was attended by Professor Jasur Rizayev, Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, and Gavkhar Alimova, Mayor of Kattakurgan. In their speeches, they emphasized the significance of the event in improving the quality of medical education and enhancing the system of training and retraining mid-level medical personnel.
The conference was also attended by A. Nasimov, Head of the Samarkand Regional Department of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, and H. Egamov, Director of the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Nurses. They underlined the importance of the event in advancing professional education and modernizing nursing programs.
Participants discussed modern approaches to nursing education, retraining, and professional development, delivering presentations on such topics as “The Current State of Nursing Education: Challenges and Proposals,” “The Role of Simulation-Based Learning in Medical Education,” and “Innovative Electronic Methods in Modern Medical Training.”
The conference also highlighted the integration of international best practices into nursing education, opportunities for professional growth, and pathways for overseas internships and collaboration.
Overall, the event served as an important platform for sharing experiences, discussing challenges, and developing new strategies to enhance the quality of nursing education in Uzbekistan.
