Samarkand State Medical University has been actively expanding cooperation with medical and educational institutions around the world in order to improve the quality of healthcare and medical education, as well as to introduce international best practices into its system.
On November 4 of this year, a delegation from the French Center for Psychomotor Rehabilitation, Treatment, Diagnostics, and Education visited Samarkand State Medical University. During the visit, a meeting was held with the rector of the university, Professor Jasur Rizayev, where the parties discussed areas of mutual collaboration.
It should be noted that over the past year, negotiations between Samarkand State Medical University and the French Center for Psychomotor Rehabilitation have been focused on establishing a joint Center for Psychomotor Rehabilitation, Treatment, Diagnostics, and Education under the university’s structure, as well as launching a joint training program for qualified specialists in this field.
The opening of the Psychomotor Rehabilitation Center in cooperation with the French institution will play an important role in the rehabilitation of psychomotor disorders such as autism, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, and apraxia.
At the conclusion of the discussions, the parties signed a memorandum of bilateral cooperation.
