Head of the Department of Hygiene, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor P.N. Faiziboev, and Senior Lecturer Z.K. Bulaev of the Department of Hygiene took part in an academic mobility program hosted by Khoja Ahmed Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University (Republic of Kazakhstan). The academic mobility program contributed to:

• the development of scientific and educational cooperation,
• the exchange of modern experience in hygiene and preventive medicine,
• the strengthening of professional ties between universities,
• improving the quality of specialist training.

  Participation of the staff of the Hygiene Department in international programmes is an important step in integrating Samarkand State Medical University into the global educational and scientific arena.
