Samarkand State Medical University continues to strengthen its international cooperation by expanding academic partnerships, promoting academic mobility for faculty members and students, and enhancing scientific and educational collaboration.

  Within this framework, faculty members of the Faculty of Medical Prevention, Public Health and Medical Biology have undertaken academic mobility visits to leading higher medical education institutions in the Republic of Kazakhstan, where they participated in a number of productive meetings and scientific and educational activities.

  In December 2023, Professors B.E. Tukhtarov, P.N. Fayziboyev, M.U. Valiyeva, and Senior Lecturer Z.K. Bulyaev visited the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. During the visit, meetings were held with the Academy's administration to discuss the implementation of cooperation in education, scientific research, and academic mobility in accordance with the Memorandum of Cooperation signed on March 9, 2021. The delegation also became acquainted with the Academy's educational and research activities, conducted practical classes for students in the fields of hygiene and epidemiology, and actively participated in the 10th International Conference of Young Scientists and Students.

  In April–May 2025, faculty members of Samarkand State Medical University participated in the Academic Mobility Program at Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University. During their visit, they delivered lectures and practical training sessions for students of the Faculty of Medicine. Meetings were also held with the University's Department of International Relations, where both sides discussed further cooperation in medical education, scientific research, academic exchange programs for faculty members and students, and the implementation of joint educational and research projects.

  During both visits, the delegation of Samarkand State Medical University became familiar with modern educational laboratories, simulation centers, electronic library systems, and research facilities. The lectures and practical classes delivered by the University's faculty members attracted considerable interest from Kazakh students and academic staff.

  Upon completion of the academic mobility programs, the participating faculty members of Samarkand State Medical University were awarded certificates by the host universities in recognition of their successful participation. 

  These visits represent another significant step toward expanding the University's international partnership network, improving the quality of medical education in accordance with international standards, promoting joint scientific research, and strengthening academic exchange between faculty members and students. Samarkand State Medical University remains committed to further developing long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation with leading medical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
