Abstract

Since chronic frontal sinusitis is a common disease, searching for new methods for diagnosing the paranasal sinuses in modern otorhinolaryngology is relevant. This review aims to analyze the methods for diagnosing chronic frontal sinusitis and evaluate their effectiveness. As a research material, 25 articles on the diagnosis of chronic frontal sinusitis published in the international databases PubMed, Scopus, and e-library were analyzed. The review showed that MSCT and diagnostic puncture of the frontal sinus can be chosen as the main methods of examination in the diagnosis of chronic frontal sinusitis
