HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT

The teaching of pharmacology at the Samarkand Medical Institute was first started in 1932 by Professor I.V. Troitsky.
In 1935, N.K. Klemparsky was appointed to the post of head of the department of pharmacology, who headed the department for 10 years. During this period, several journal articles were written belonging to the head of the department N.K. Klemparsky and assistant Zolotukhina.
In 1942, the Military Medical Academy was evacuated to Samarkand from Leningrad and Professor V.M. Karasik became the head of the Department of Pharmacology, but soon he was replaced by G.A. Mednikyan.
During the leadership of the Department of Pharmacology by Professor V.M. Karasik and G.A. Mednikyan, the revival of both educational and, especially, research work of the Department is noted.
After the re-evacuation of the Military Medical Academy (1944), N.K. Klemparsky was again appointed head of the Department of Pharmacology.
In the 1945-46 academic year, the position of head of the Department of Pharmacology was replaced concurrently by the head of the Department of Pathophysiology by Associate Professor H.R. Farhadi.
In the spring of 1946, Associate Professor I.E. Akopov was elected to the position of head of the Department of Pharmacology, who worked until 1957.
During the work of I.E. Akopov, there was a significant revival in scientific research work, in the preparation of candidates of science. Starting from 1949 to 1957, the staff of the Department of Pharmacology (I.E. Akopov, I.I. Ibragimov, M.M. Mansurov, E.A. Belyavskaya, F.A.Aslitdinov) studied and introduced into medical practice a new general hemostatic and the sedative drug lagochilus intoxicating, which has entered all textbooks of pharmacology and many drugs.
In the same period, the local anesthetic properties of afillin hydrochloride were studied (IE Akopov, VA Konovalova).
From 1957 to 1962, he headed the department S.M. Tregubov.
In the period from 1962 to March 1968, when the department was headed by V.A. Konovalova, the staff of the department carried out research work in 2 directions. The search for new hemostatic and anticoagulant agents from local plant materials and pharmacological studies of quinolizidine alkaloids.
On April 1, 1968, associate professor M.M. Mansurov was appointed head of the Department of Pharmacology. On September 2, 1970, he was elected to this position by competition.
Proceeding from the main problem of the union value "Search and study of new pharmacological substances" the staff of the Department of Pharmacology are working on the scientific problem "Medicinal regulation of the blood coagulation process."
Currently, research is underway for new medicinal products from plant sources of Uzbekistan and their active principles, as well as from the class of synthetic derivatives 1 and 12-oxycoumarin.
During the period from 1968 to 1994, 85 journal articles were published and accepted for publication, 5 candidate dissertations and one doctoral dissertation were defended. All of them are approved by the Higher Attestation Commission.
Eshchanov T.B. - "On the desensitizing properties of prickly capers", approved by the Higher Attestation Commission.
Sarkisyants R.G. "To the pharmacology of ferula aposeris", defended in 1972 and approved.
L.V. Murtazaeva "The effect of affelinic acid on experimental bronchospasm", approved by the VAK.
Mansurov MM - doctoral dissertation on the topic "Pharmacological study of the action of the alkaloid stachydrin, helenin and asafoetida on the blood coagulation system."
M.S. Martirosov, D.N. Karshiev. - defended their candidate dissertation.
As a result of scientific research carried out in recent years, the following have been established: the general hemostatic property of galenic preparations of the capercea plant and its active principle of the alkaloid hydrochloride of stachydrin, pure helenin, the active principle from the group of essential oils and the anticoagulant, antiallergic properties of asafoetida and herbal prepar ations of the plant ferula aposeris.
1993-95; 1997-99. Professor Ibadova D.N. was appointed head of the Department of Pharmacology.
D.N. Ibadova defended her Ph.D. thesis in 1975, 1976-1977. worked as an assistant at the Department of Pharmacology.
In 1986 she defended her doctoral dissertation and in 1987 she was awarded the title of professor.
1995 - 97; 1999 - 2001; 2003 - 2004 the head of the department was associate professor Khusanov Sh.Kh ..
Sh.Kh. Khusanov was hired as an assistant of the Department of Pharmacology in 1974.
In the same year he defended his Ph.D. thesis, has 1 monograph, 2 copyright certificates and 35 scientific and educational recommendations, articles.
2001 - 2003 Candidate of Medical Sciences D.N. Karshiev was appointed head of the Department of Pharmacology
DN Karshiev 1988–90 years worked as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Pharmacology, Tash MI.
1990-91; 1994–96. worked as an assistant at the Department of Pharmacology of SamMI.
1991–94 completed postgraduate studies at the Department of Pharmacology I - TashMI.
D.N. Karshiev in 1994 defended his candidate's dissertation, in 2000 his doctoral dissertation.
1996 - 99 completed doctoral studies at the Department of Pharmacology at SamMI.
From the 2004-2008 academic years, the course of pharmacology was headed by associate professor Khusanov Sh.Kh.
Since 2008, the course of pharmacology, and since 2017, the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology is in charge
Yuldashev S.Zh. Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor.
Associate Professor Yuldashev Soatboy Zhiyanboevich graduated from the medical faculty of the Samarkand State Medical Institute in 1994, was sent to clinical residency at the Department of Infectious Diseases, which he graduated in 1996. From 1996 to 2000 he worked as an assistant in the same department. From 2000 to 2008 he was a senior lecturer at the Department of Infectious Diseases. In 2006, being an applicant for a course in pharmacology, he successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic "Study of the anti-inflammatory effect of thiosemicarbazone paranitrophenylglyoxylic acid". Since 2008, he was in charge of the course of pharmacology, from 2017 to the present day, head of the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology In 2009 he was elected to the position of assistant professor of the course of pharmacology. Author of over 120 scientific papers.
S.Zh. Yuldashev gives lectures in Uzbek and Russian at the 3rd year of medical, pediatric, medical-pedagogical and dental faculties, and also conducts practical classes. He is the head of the curatorial stream. Completed refresher courses.
Under his leadership, many lectures on the subject of pharmacology were published in Uzbek (Cyrillic and Latin) and Russian. Works on maintaining and increasing the technical base of the course.
S. Zh. Yuldashev conducts spiritual and educational work among students, has respect and authority. He worked as the chairman of the primary organization of the youth organization "Kamolot" of the Institute. Since 1998, he has been the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pediatrics. Member of the Academic Council, makes reports at councils. He is a member of the State Attestation Commission of the Faculty. He was repeatedly awarded by the administration of the institute, city and regional khokimiyat, and was also awarded a commemorative badge dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The department trains 2nd year students of medical, pediatric, vocational education, dentistry, preventive medicine, traditional medicine, 2nd and 4th year students of the Faculty of Medicine and Biology, 3rd year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy. In addition, the following students of the international faculty study at the department: 1 course of the Faculty of General Medicine, 2 courses of the Faculty of Pediatrics and Dentistry. From the 2020-2021 academic year, the department began teaching MBBS students from Pakistan and India.

At the department, 2-3 medical, pediatrics , dentistry, medical prevention, medical biology, 2-3 courses of higher nursing and folk medical faculties and 3-4 courses of pharmacy study, there is a lesson in pharmacology. In addition, the following students of the international faculty study at the department: 2nd year of the Faculty of Higher Nursing and the 2nd year of the Faculty of Medicine, Pediatrics and Dentistry. From the 2020-2021 academic year, the department began work on teaching MBBS students of the international faculty from Pakistan and India. The department has 5 educational laboratories and 1 laboratory room equipped with adapted technical equipment, and laboratories in the form of practical laboratory work and working on the basis of economic contracts and grants.
