Master-classes of foreign scientists as part of academic mobility

  On the basis of cooperation agreements signed with foreign partners on academic mobility programs, foreign colleagues on a regular basis conduct their training sessions and master classes for students and teachers at Samarkand State Medical University.

  On May 27, 2022, researcher of Russian Institute of Bioinformatics, Ph.D. Alexander Ilyin conducted master classes on the topics "Biophysics in medicine" and "Role of modern technologies in the current era of globalization" for international students in English language at the Department of Physics, biophysics and medical physics of Faculty of Medical Education and Higher Nursing.

  On May 23-28, 2022, Dr. Nurdan Tekin from the Department of Medical Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, Turkish Medical University conducted seminars, lectures and workshops on "Current issues of drug production" for staff, residents and students of the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology.

  On May 23-28, Dr. Oguzhan Bol, head of the Department of Emergency Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Turkish Medical University, held a master class on "Rapid intubation: control of airway patency. The Most Effective Tool" for students and academic staff of our university. The class ended with a lively discussion where students got answers to their questions.

  Within the framework of academic mobility, on May 20-21, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences (PhD), Olesya Afanasyeva, Associate Professor of Philosophy Department at Bashkir State Medical University (Russia), held lectures and seminars according to the schedule for the students of faculty of international education in the field of "Dentistry" (joint program). The guest was also acquainted with the material and technical base of the new educational building, the University history museum, the equipment of classrooms and laboratories and highly appreciated the conditions created for the educational process.
