  At the beginning of each academic year, in order to fulfill these tasks, after discussion, a plan for the implementation of work in the spiritual-educational and moral-educational spheres was approved.

  During the academic year, according to the plan, the course professors and teachers carried out a lot of work in the field of spiritual and moral education.

  The department constantly celebrated national holidays, birthdays of our great ancestors and historical figures, such as A. Navoi (February 9), Z. M. Babur (February 14), M. Ulugbek (March 22), A. Temur (April 9).   During the "Information Hours" held on Thursdays, discussions were held continuously throughout the year on the topics of high spiritual standards, spiritual maturity of students, and religious tolerance with the goal of developing spiritual maturity in humans.

  In addition, events dedicated to international days were held : November 3rd - International Day of Persons with Disabilities, December 1st - World AIDS Day, May 18th - International Museum Day, May 31st - Environment Day, June 1st - Children's Day, and on June 26th - round tables dedicated to Anti-Drug Abuse Day were held in all groups.

  For the day of memory and honor, On the eve of May 9, teachers of the Department of Physics, Biophysics and Medical Physics of SamDTU are visiting veterans Niyazova Zebo , Umarov Kuchim , Abdurakhmanov Mukhiddin and others who worked and taught at the university for many years.

  The department's teachers, on the instructions of the regional khokimiyat, carried out educational and orientation work in schools and mahallas of the Ishtikhan , Kushchrabot , Kattakurgon and Khatirchi districts.

  Associate Professor Naim Ochilovich Sodikov , who worked and headed the department for 54 years, was awarded the “Veteran of Labor” badge of the first degree by presidential decree.
