HISTORY OF DEPARTMENT


  The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Faculty of General Medicine was founded in 1932. Until 1942, the head of the department was A.V. Polyakov. During this period, the staff of the department were engaged in the improvement of methods of operative delivery, prevention of eclampsia, uterine ruptures, treatment of tuberculosis, malaria in pregnant women (A.V. Polyakov, R.S. Mirsagatova, 1935, and others). During this time, under his leadership, E.S. Hakobyan defended his candidate's dissertation in 1937 and his doctoral dissertation in 1941.

  In the period from 1942 to 1949, the department was headed by Yervan Sergeevich Hakobyan. He supervised A.D. Stepanova.

  In 1949, Evgenia Iosifovna Ioffe-Golubchik was elected head of the department and headed the department until 1959. Under her leadership I.Z.Zakirov (1953), Z.M.Rasuli (1957), V.F.Farkhadi (1957), M.A.Nabiev (1958), A.Kh. Abramov (1958) defended their candidate dissertation ...

  In 1959, candidate of medical sciences I.Z. Zakirov was appointed head of the department and headed the department until 1999, that is, for 40 years.

  In the early sixties, the main scientific research of the department was devoted to the topic of pregnancy and childbirth in women with Botkin's disease. On the initiative of I.Z. Zakirov in the former Soviet Union, for the first time in the hospital for infectious diseases, a specialized department was opened for the treatment of pregnant women suffering from viral hepatitis. In 1965, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "Influence of Botkin's disease on pregnancy, fetus and child", continuing scientific research in this department. In 1967 I.Z. Zakirov was awarded the academic title of professor. This fundamental research was continued by graduate students and teachers of the department. Problems of this topic IZZakirov and employees of the department D.Z. Shokirov, LM, Mardanov, comprehensively studied and in 1979 published the monograph "Pregnancy and rheumatism". Since the 1960s, the attention of the department staff began to be attracted by the topic of gestosis, which at that time was one of the least studied topics. FROM. Zakirov, R.M. Khaitov, F.Yu. Garib expanded scientific research on this topic by publishing a monograph on the results of immunological studies in this disease. During the leadership of I.Z. Zakirov, scientific research was carried out on important problems of obstetrics, namely: pregnancy and anemia, trophoblastic diseases, premature birth, premature detachment of a normally located placenta, septic inflammation in obstetrics, cesarean section, narrow pelvis, obstetric bleeding, perinatal diseases, and gynecological dysfunctional uterine bleeding, fibroids of the uterus, ovarian tumors and many other topics were conducted research and seminars. Over the past 40 years, under the leadership of I.Z. Zakirov, a mature scientific, practical and pedagogical school that meets modern obstetric requirements has been created at the department. As a result of a comprehensive study of the staff of the department under the leadership of I.Z. Zakirov, 52 candidate and 5 doctoral dissertations were defended. In 1995 I.Z. Zakirov was elected an academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

  Since October 1999, at the department of tf.d. associate professor N.I. Zakirova was elected head of the department. Under the leadership of N.I. Zakirova defended 5 candidate dissertations. She has published over 270 scientific articles in Uzbek and foreign publications. About 46 recommendations have been published.

  In 2011, the base of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Faculty of Medicine was created, which was located in the maternity complex No. 1.

  Chief physician of the Samarkand maternity hospital №1 Dzhumanov BA was appointed head of the course.

  In the 2012-2013 academic year, 7th-year students of the medical and medical-pedagogical faculties of SamMI first began their training in the base on the subject "Obstetrics and Gynecology".

  In 2014-2017, the head of the course was Eltazarova Gulnora Sherbekovna.

   In 2017-2020, the head physician of the maternity complex No. 1 Dzhuraeva G.E. headed the course.

  Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology № 3 Associate Professor Nargiz Nuralievna Shavazi. 2018-2020 conducted scientific-research work on the topic "Forecasting and prevention of premature ejaculation of peritoneal water during premature pregnancy." SPIRITUAL AND EDUCATIONAL AFFAIRS


  Work on spirituality and enlightenment at the department is carried out on the basis of a plan approved by the Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs. It is a weekly online meeting, each hour dedicated to a specific topic. Once all this is done, it will be recorded in the protocol.

  The task of science: to form knowledge about the etiology, pathogenesis, clinic, classification of diseases, complications of clinical manifestations, treatment and prevention of gynecological diseases; increase skills in collecting anamnesis and examining patients in the system; training on the main clinical criteria of the disease; training in substantiation and determination of primary and clinical diagnosis; training sessions, doctor's tactics and complex treatment; diagnostics using laboratory, equipment, clinical manuals; training to interpret the results of laboratory and instrumental test methods; formation of knowledge about the principles of differential diagnosis and final diagnostics; is to develop the ability to provide emergency assistance in emergencies.

  Modern pedagogical technologies are widely used in practical training. DAILY ACTIVITIES OF THE DEPARTMENT




  The subject "Obstetrics and Gynecology" is taught at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology №3 of the Faculty of Medicine.During the year at the department, all subjects are taught according to the schedule drawn up by the educational part of the institute.A work program has been drawn up on the basis of a typical program for each subject.
