Competitions in chess and checkers for "Rector's Cup" were launched in Samarkand State Medical University in order to attract student youth to healthy lifestyle and sports, as well as to conduct interesting leisure time by the initiative of the Sports Club.
Thus, about 500 students from all faculties of the university are taking part in this competition. At the end of the competition it is planned to award the winners with valuable gifts and diplomas.
