In order to develop physical education and sport, promote healthy lifestyles and provide meaningful leisure time for students, sports competitions in basketball, volleyball, handball and mini-football were held among Samarkand region's higher educational institutions from 16-22 June for the " Cup of SSS".

  Students of Samarkand State Medical University also took the most active part in various kinds of sports at the competitions. During the intense competition they managed to win the following prizes:

4th place in handball;

2 place in basketball;

2nd place in volleyball;

1st place in indoor football.

  Congratulations to the members of our University's teams for their excellent results and we wish them new achievements in sport !
