Abstract
Пациенты с диабетом и гипертонией подвержены повышенному риску макрососудистых и микрососудистых осложнений. Для предотвращения и замедления прогрессирования этих осложнений необходимо нацеливаться на множественные факторы риска. Было продемонстрировано, что оптимизация контроля гликемии, липидов и артериального давления улучшает результаты лечения пациентов. Преимущества оптимального лечения дислипидемии статинами могут стать очевидными в течение нескольких месяцев у пациентов с высоким риском, тогда как значительное снижение риска сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний в результате контроля гипергликемии и гипертензии развивается в течение нескольких лет.
