The purpose of conducting research work at the department is to educate future medical workers as internationally recognized competitive, high-level medical specialists in accordance with the priority ideas of our state, as well as providing them with regular scientific, creative work and providing practical assistance.

    The goal is also to identify current medical problems awaiting solutions, develop modern solutions through scientific research, bring new scientific information to the international arena, and collaborate with leading experts from prestigious medical universities in our country and regions.

    Currently, the world is experiencing global environmental changes, there is an increase in infectious and non-infectious immunological , immunopathological, allergic diseases, and therefore the scientific direction of our department is to strengthen the foundation of practical medicine by studying the scientific aspects of the uniqueness of these problems.

    The teaching staff of the department actively participates in all scientific and research activities of the department. In the 2022-2023 academic year, 2 employees successfully defended their Ph.D. thesis (Yusupov M.I., Muradova E.V.), 3 employees work as independent applicants. In the first quarter of this year, more than 70 articles and theses by department employees were published in international and national scientific journals and scholar.google collections. , more than 1700 citations in the international system.
