On June 25 of this year, Gafurova Yulduz Alisherovna, the director of "GRANDPHARM ACADEMY", one of the leaders in the pharmaceutical market of Uzbekistan, visited the Samarkand State Medical University. As part of the visit, a meeting was organized with the Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Jasur Rizayev.
According to the agreement, the memorandum "On mutual cooperation in the field of personnel training for the pharmaceutical market of the Republic" was signed between the Samarkand State Medical University and the "Grand Pharm Trade" company.
This memorandum creates opportunities for practical training for students, scholarships and sponsorships for bachelors, for masters to work on commercial projects together with Grand Pharm Trade employees, and for university scientists (doctoral students) to participate in research programs.
The memorandum also includes introducing students to the "Grandpharm logistics Hub" innovative scientific-practical production pharmaceutical cluster with the necessary pharmaceutical practices of "GPP" and "GDP", which have become an actual topic at the moment.
At the educational base, students learn the practice of working in pharmacies under the "Pill" program. Among them, the best and most promising students will be employed in the leading companies in this field. The company also provides scholarships for talented and meritorious students of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
In addition, this memorandum will be implemented with Abu Ali Ibn Sina public health technical schools.
"Cooperation with the higher educational institution will give an excellent result both for improving the efficiency of student education and for improving the quality of pharmaceutical products and services through the introduction of various cooperation schemes between our organization. I think that such cooperation makes sense in modern reality, because the company provides all the advanced educational and practical developments in this field along with the academic education of the university," said the head of the company.
