Science club

  At the Department of "Public Health and Healthcare Management," students' research activities are carried out through the meetings of the student scientific circle called "Young Organizers." These meetings are organized both online and offline, and the students also participate in special sessions within the framework of international and national student scientific-practical conferences held at Samarkand State Medical University, as well as in other regions of our Republic and abroad. The research topics of the students are related to urgent issues of social-humanitarian sciences, the analysis of disease indicators linked to public health in modern medicine, the evaluation of socio-economic indicators in the study of demographics, statistical measures and calculation methods, clinical epidemiology, healthy lifestyle, and issues related to the organization and management (management and marketing) of healthcare.

  Students carry out and explore research projects for national competitions on topics such as medical knowledge, including statistics, management, organizational processes in public health, and various issues related to social insurance, medical insurance, clinical epidemiology, healthy lifestyle, and health risk factors. The circle invites all students from both senior and junior courses who are interested in these topics to collaborate, encouraging and promoting the achievements of its members.

  The person responsible for the circle's activities is Senior Lecturer Shokhista Abdugapparovna Mamasolieva, who is the author of more than 60 scientific articles and theses.

  The head of the "Young Organizers" scientific circle is Ozoda Normuradova, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Medical-Preventive, Public Health, and Medical Biology, participant of the Olympiad, author and co-author of scientific articles and theses, and a recipient of the 2nd-degree diploma at a conference held at the Tashkent Medical Academy.
