Educational and methodical work of the department

  The department trains fifth-year students in the Faculty of Pediatrics (Pediatrics); third-year students in the Faculty of Pediatrics, General Medicine, and the Faculty of Medical Biology (Dietetics and Nutrition); second-year students in the Faculty of Dentistry, Medical Prevention, and Advanced Nursing (Dietetics and Nutrition); second-year students in the Faculty of Medical Prevention, Traditional Medicine, and Medical Biology (Pediatrics); and second-year students in the Faculty of Advanced Nursing (Pediatric Nursing).

  The department trains highly qualified specialists in the Master's degree program and clinical residency. Training is conducted according to the following approved documents for each year and faculty:

  • Qualification characteristics;
  • State standard;
  • Curriculum;

  Educational work program; Educational technologies include:

  • Amendments based on Order No. 80 of the SSB of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
  • Approved diagnostic standards;
  • International recommendations;

  Modern educational technologies (graphic organizers, case study technology, and project-based methods). The following technical resources are used in the teaching process: The department's technical equipment allows for the demonstration of thematic videos, presentations, lectures, and practical classes. A unified bank of scanned images has been created, covering all sections of the curriculum and structured according to the curriculum.

  Department Library:
  • The library contains over 50 textbooks in Uzbek, Russian, and English.
  • The online library contains atlases, textbooks, teaching aids, and other materials.
  During practical classes, students are provided with examinations of specific patients in ultrasound, echocardiography, ECG, and X-ray diagnostic rooms.
