SDG 17 Report

  Samarkand State Medical University (SSMU) is actively engaged in supporting SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. We believe that collaboration is essential for achieving sustainable development and enhancing the impact of educational and health initiatives. Through partnerships with local, national, and international institutions, we leverage collective expertise and resources to address global challenges. SSMU is committed to transparency and publishes regular updates on our progress and collaborative efforts related to SDG 17.

  Each year, SSMU publishes a comprehensive SDG 17 report that highlights our partnerships, initiatives, and achievements: The report provides detailed data on the number and nature of our collaborations, including joint research projects, training programs, and community health initiatives. We showcase specific partnerships, such as health outreach programs with NGOs, joint research with international universities, and policy consultations with government bodies, highlighting the impact and scope of these collaborative efforts.

  Local and National Partnerships for Health and Education

  SSMU is dedicated to fostering partnerships that strengthen health and educational systems within Uzbekistan and the broader region: Collaborations with Government Ministries: We work closely with ministries of health and education on projects that improve public health, expand access to medical education, and enhance healthcare policies. Community Health Initiatives: Through partnerships with local healthcare providers and organizations, SSMU leads initiatives on disease prevention, vaccination drives, and public health awareness, benefitting communities across Uzbekistan.
