Международное сотрудничество

  During the 2025–2026 academic year, the Department of Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Technologies carried out a number of activities aimed at developing international cooperation, strengthening relations with foreign higher education institutions and research organizations, and expanding the participation of academic staff and students in international scientific and educational processes.

  Within the framework of international cooperation, particular attention was paid to the exchange of experience in the fields of pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical technology, pharmaceutical biotechnology, biopharmaceutics, the study of medicinal plants, and drug development technologies.

  Cooperation with Foreign Higher Education Institutions

  The department carried out activities aimed at establishing and developing cooperation with foreign higher education institutions and research organizations.

Within the framework of cooperation:
scientific and educational relations with foreign higher education institutions were developed;
scientific experience was exchanged among academic staff;
opportunities for conducting joint scientific research were discussed;
opportunities for participation in international conferences, seminars, and webinars were expanded;
particular attention was paid to introducing advanced international experience into the educational and research processes.

  In particular, Professor Muhammad Ajmal Shah from Hazara University of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan visited the Department of Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Technologies. During his visit, the professor shared his knowledge and scientific experience with the department staff and students. Current issues in pharmacognosy and pharmaceutical technologies, as well as prospects for further scientific cooperation, were discussed.

  In addition, a delegation of academic staff and students from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Abu Ali ibn Sina Tajikistan Medical Academy visited the department. During the meeting, participants exchanged professional experience and discussed prospects for further cooperation in the fields of pharmaceutical education and science.

Scientific Cooperation with Foreign Specialists

  The academic staff of the department participated in scientific discussions and experience exchange with specialists from foreign higher education institutions and research organizations.

  Within the framework of cooperation, modern pharmaceutical technologies, the study of biologically active compounds in medicinal plants, quality control of medicinal products, development of new dosage forms, and modern methods of scientific research were discussed.

  International Academic Activities of the Academic Staff

  In order to increase the international scientific and academic activity of the department’s academic staff, opportunities were provided to participate in online and offline seminars, master classes, webinars, and scientific meetings organized by foreign institutions and organizations.

  The academic staff participated in lectures and presentations delivered by foreign specialists and became acquainted with new scientific achievements and modern technologies in the pharmaceutical field.

  The Head of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Technologies, N.D. Kodirov, visited the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy  an academic mobility program. During the visit, meetings were held with academic staff, issues related to the development of academic and scientific cooperation were discussed, and prospects for further interaction between the educational institutions were considered.

  In addition, Professor Kulpen Kenzhebayevna Orinbosarova of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy delivered an online lecture on the subject of “Pharmacognosy” for students of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

  The activities carried out contributed to expanding the department’s international academic relations, facilitating the exchange of professional and scientific experience, improving the quality of the educational process, and familiarizing academic staff and students with modern achievements in international pharmaceutical science.

  Prospective Areas of International Cooperation

  In the future, the department plans to further expand cooperation with foreign partners, increase the number of joint scientific projects, actively participate in international grant programs, expand the participation of academic staff in international internships and professional development programs, involve foreign professors in the educational process, and further develop student academic mobility.

  Particular attention will be paid to implementing joint scientific research in the fields of pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical technology, pharmaceutical biotechnology, and biopharmaceutics, publishing joint research papers in international scientific journals, and further strengthening the international scientific and educational potential of the department.
