In the 2025-2026 academic year, 53 students were admitted to the Student Scientific Society (SSS) organized at the Department of Microbiology, Virology, and Immunology, all of whom participated in scientific research.

  In conducting scientific research, all staff members of the department provided comprehensive assistance to the students. 44 SSS members were assigned scientific fields, and the work was carried out under the guidance of research supervisors.

  SSS members published 12 articles at the national level and 8 articles abroad. All published articles were awarded certificates.

  SSS members actively participate in international Olympiads organized by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and in the Commonwealth countries, and they consistently win prizes.

  Under the supervision of our department’s faculty members, talented students participated in the International Olympiad hosted by Samarkand State Medical University (SamSMU) and achieved high honors, winning 2 first-place, 4 second-place, and 2 third-place awards.

  On June 16, 2026, members of the Student Scientific Society (SSS) of the Department of Microbiology, Virology, and Immunology at SamSMU participated in the student conference titled "80th Achievements of Fundamental Medicine and Pharmacy" and secured honorable places.

  SSS members published 12 articles at the national level and 8 articles at the international level.
