Abstract

According to WHO, the frequency of caesarean section ranges from 10-15% in economically developed countries. In some obstetric hospitals, it has reached 30-40% or more, continuing to increase. According to the world literature, every fourth woman is delivered by caesarean section, and every fifth of them has a postoperative period with complications. In Uzbekistan, this operation is performed with a frequency of about 17-20%, while the European region is characterized by a frequency of 14-24%, in the USA - 29% of all births, and in Chile and Brazil - 40%.
