Статья представляет собой краткий обзор опубликованной в базе данных PubMed в 2004-2024 годах релевантной научной литературы, отражающей роль и значение наиболее рекомендуемых для профилактики НИЗ диетических вмешательств. Дано описание ключевых особенностей средиземноморской диеты, диеты DASH и некоторых других. Приведены данные об их влиянии на уровень артериального давления, глюкозы крови, индекс массы тела. Отмечены барьеры для широкого использования данных диетических вмешательств, которые включают культурные особенности потребителей, более высокую стоимость предлагаемых диет, необходимость тратить больше времени на приготовление пищи, контролировать размер съедаемых порций.
